Talia Shapiro

Talia Shapiro is an Associate Attorney at Melmed Law Group, where she advocates for employee rights, specializing in wage-and-hour class actions and individual employment disputes.

Talia was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and earned her degree in both Legal Studies and Consumer Behavior & Marketplace Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She continued her education at LMU Loyola Law School, where she completed her Juris Doctor in 2025. At Loyola, Talia served as the Senior Research Editor of the Entertainment Law Review and as Vice President of the Women’s Law Association.

While at Loyola, Talia also participated in the Conciliation & Mediation Assistance Clinic, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience and honed interviewing, problem assessment, case management, and negotiation skills by participating in conciliations and mediations under professional supervision. Talia’s passion for workplace equity began when she served as a research assistant for Professor Bornstein, researching pay transparency legislation for employment in the United States.
