harassment in the workplace is <strong>\u201c<em>quid pro quo<\/em>\u201d <\/strong>sexual harassment.\u00a0 This occurs when a supervisor demands sexual favors from an employee in <strong>exchange<\/strong> for tangible job benefits or in <strong>exchange<\/strong> for not taking an adverse action against the employee (for example, if a supervisor tells you that he will fire you or cut your hours if you do not submit to his sexual advances).
